Rodizio Grill Signs With Pensacola Bay Center

(Pensacola, FL – May 5, 2014)

Rodizio Grill, a local Brazilian Steakhouse, is the most recent company to partner with SMG’s Pensacola Bay Center.  As of May 2014, the restaurant is the exclusive naming rights sponsor of the facility’s box office.

“Rodizio Grill has been a wonderful partner to us for a while now.  The affiliation is so successful that we both wanted to expand on the relationship and take it to the next level,” stated Casey Sparks, assistant general manager and director of sales and marketing.

Rodizio Grill is now one of five major sponsors of the facility joining Coastal Bank and Trust, West Florida Hospital, Coca-Cola and The Lewis Bear Company.

“We (Rodizio Grill) definitely see a jump in our crowds when Pensacola Bay Center hosts events. Knowing that, we felt like it was a good marketing decision to partner with them even more.  We know we offer a unique, high quality dining experience and we are excited to expose more people to it,” comments Mike Domning, owner of Pensacola’s Rodizio Grill.

Rodizio Grill, located at 605 East Gregory Street, is one of only 14 locations in the country and the only one in Florida.  The restaurant is very unique and offers over a dozen rotisserie grilled meats, perfectly seasoned and carved tableside by Rodizio Gauchos. Their grilling process is traditional to the Southern part of Brazil, specifically in Sao Paulo.

It is the first authentic Brazilian Steakhouse restaurant or Churrascaria in the United States. Established in 1995 by founder and President Ivan Utrera, a native Brazilian born in São Paulo, Rodizio Grill is an award-winning restaurant featured in many national media, including USA Today, The Washington Post, CBS News, NBC News and others.

While Rodizio Grill will not sell tickets at their restaurant, you can expect to see some rebranding of the box office on site at Pensacola Bay Center.  The two businesses will also partner together to make special offers for events and dining opportunities.
